Oct 2011 Meeting

A fantastic “Showcasing RAWCS Expo” was held at Mermaid Waters hosted by DG Graham Jones of D.9640.

The Guest Speakers all covered diverse areas of the World and differing activities of RAWCS and included PDG Ailsa Hay on Project Funding, PDG Terry Daley discussing Project Volunteers, Caleb Siquiro, a recipient of Project Volunteers in the Solomon Islands, Rtn. Lars Olsen of Harvey Bay talking about the Forget Me Not Childrens Home in Nepal, and Pat Fleming discussing a Cambodian project. This was followed by talks from John Paskin, DIK Chair, Barbara Parker on recipients of DIK, Des Lerance on Samoan Projects, and Phil Dempster on Rotarians against Malaria.
