Project Funding

RAWCS Project Funding deals with the collection and distribution of funds donated towards suitable and approved projects.

Rotary Clubs are encouraged to submit viable projects for listing in the RAWCS database.

The RAWCS Overseas Aid Fund receives the donations, through a network of regional contacts.  All donations to approved projects in an overseas country are tax deductible.

Funds are distributed to overseas project coordinators, on the request of the local project contact.

Some of the needs met through this program include the cost of construction, maintenance and operation of schools, orphanages and community health and welfare facilities, construction of cyclone proof homes and low cost shelters for the destitute, medical equipment, school requisites, sponsorship of orphans, improved agriculture, animal husbandry, high protein foods, improved sanitation and fresh water facilities.

Please Note

Child Protection Laws

“that, whatever law applies in the State where the Volunteer lives will be the requirement for all RAWCS Project Volunteer Teams”.

This means, that, all future Project Volunteers from –
1) Qld – will be required to produce a copy of a current Blue Card;
2) NSW – will be required to complete a Volunteer Child Protection Form
